FEE SCALE 2025 AND TERMS OF BUSINESS

FEE SCALE FOR 2025

  • Photographs will be professionally edited.
  • All services will be delivered via a transfer link, using either Dropbox or WeTransfer. Floorplans will be drawn on Metropix, provided as 2D black and white JPEG files and videos will be via an MP4 file.
  • To enhance the overall quality of the images, small items may be repositioned or removed from each room before photographing. Please note that a full ‘home staging’ service is not included.
  • If significant decluttering is required, we recommend that the homeowner or agent prepare the property in advance of the appointment.
  • Appointment lengths vary depending on the property size. For two to three bedroom properties, approximately one and a half hours will be allocated. For four bedroom properties and larger, appointments typically range from one and a half hours to two and half hours, particularly when drone photography is included. If additional, unplanned time is required on site, an extra charge may apply. (times excluding video).
  • Pricing for drone photography is based on capturing ten to fifteen aerial images, depending on the property type and location.
  • All drone operations are subject to suitable weather conditions and cannot be carried out in rain or high winds. If a scheduled drone shoot, booked alongside other services, is cancelled due to adverse weather, the final images will be charged at the standalone drone photography rate. Ground-level external images can be taken during the same visit at no extra cost if conditions were wet previously, if requested.
  • Drone photography cannot be carried out in areas subject to flight restrictions. If drone operations cannot proceed for legal or safety reasons, Josh Smith Photography will not be liable for any resulting delays or missed marketing opportunities. (All drone operations are conducted in accordance with CAA regulations and the photographer’s operational authorisation).

GENERAL TERMS OF BUSINESS FOR 2025

Fees;

All fees are outlined in ‘Fee Scale 2025’ document which can be easily requested. Repeat visits will only be provided free of charge in cases where an error has been made by Josh Smith Photography.

Payment Terms;

For individual assignments, payment is due within 15 days of the invoice date. For clients with an account, invoices will be issued monthly, at the beginning of the month following the work completed, and must be settled within 15 days of the invoice date.

Where payment is not received within the agreed terms, no further work will be undertaken until the outstanding balance has been paid in full. Payment instructions will be clearly stated on each invoice.

Weather;

Extreme weather, such as snow, fog, or heavy rain, may prevent an appointment from going ahead or impact the quality of the work. In such cases, Josh Smith Photography will reschedule the appointment free of charge. This policy applies only to extreme weather. Conditions such as cloud cover, overcast skies, or light rain will not be considered valid grounds for cancellation, and appointments will proceed as scheduled. Blue sky replacement will be applied to external images as standard.

Delivery and Timescales;

Completed services will be delivered electronically, typically via Dropbox or WeTransfer, within forty eight hours of the appointment start time, unless otherwise agreed in advance.

Josh Smith Photography accepts no liability for delays or failure to deliver services caused by circumstances beyond our control.

Floorplans are created as accurately as possible, but should be regarded as a guide only. Josh Smith Photography accepts no liability for any inaccuracies.

Limitation of Liability:

Josh Smith Photography will exercise reasonable skill and care in providing all services. Liability for any claim, loss, or damage arising from the services is limited to the total fees paid for that assignment. Josh Smith Photography is not liable for indirect or consequential losses.

Cancelations;

Appointments cancelled or rescheduled by the client with less than 24 hours’ notice may be subject to a cancellation fee of 50% of the quoted fee. If access cannot be gained to the property at the scheduled time, the visit will be treated as a late cancellation.

Data Protection;

Any personal information, including seller or landlord details, will be securely stored by Josh Smith Photography and destroyed when no longer required, in line with data protection practices.

Photo Release;

Josh Smith Photography grants clients the right to use commissioned property photographs for the purpose of marketing the property. We reserve the right to use photographs or floorplans for editorial, advertising, or other marketing purposes to promote the services of Josh Smith Photography. For the purposes of this  agreement, “client” refers to the person or company paying for the photography services.
